Cross Country skiing

Laurel Ridge State Park

You only need to travel about 15-20 minutes out of the borough of Ohiopyle to access these groomed cross country ski trails. Weather conditions are updated daily on their Facebook page so be sure to check before you head out as warmer temperatures can make the snow sticky - this does not make for good kickin' and gliding conditions! Laurel Ridge offers ski and snowshoe rentals for those without personal gear!

The Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) - If we get enough snow in town the State Park will typically groom the bike trail which is a great option for those looking for something flat and relatively easy. You must bring your own gear.

Sugarloaf Mountain - If you are looking for more downhill Sugarloaf Mountain is a fantastic option. These trails sit at a higher elevation than the GAP trail and typically have snow when the state park does not. You must bring your own gear.
